What to Write in Your Cards

As you might have already guessed, here at Flowercard there’s nothing we love more than sending, and receiving, cards. Whether you’re saying happy birthday, congratulations, or thinking of you, there really is no better way to show you care than a beautiful card with a meaningful message. We also know that sometimes inspiration is lacking and deciding what to write in your card can leave you stressed or re-using the same sentiment time and time again.

To get you started, we’ve put together a little guide filled with quotes, ideas and tips for what to write in wedding, anniversary and new home cards. Feel free to use them as inspiration for your own cards and make them your own!

If you’ve got any ideas of your own we’d love it if you’d share them with us – get in touch with us via Facebook.

What to Write in Wedding Cards

We’ve all been there; frantically hunting for a pen as we approach the venue and racking our brains for something meaningful to write in the gorgeous card we’d picked out for the happy couple. Even if you’re a little more organised than this, it can still be incredibly stressful trying to think of a message that’s equal parts personal and warm.

If you’re in need of a little inspiration we’ve gathered together some of our favourite sentiments for you to write in your wedding cards. From welcoming a partner to the family to general messages that will work for anyone and sweet quotes, we’ve got you covered.

How to Say Congratulations

When two people get married, the most common sentiment expressed is that of congratulations. Rather than just writing “congrats”, why not give these messages a go to add a more personal touch to your card. Use them on their own, or combine them with some of our other suggestions to create the perfect card.
